Youth

Youth here are really busy with amazingly fun activities. We meet weekly for Sunday school and youth group. We even have a band just for youth! If you are interested in learning more about God and your faith, you can go through confirmation or join the youth Discipleship class.

If you want to have some fun and deepen your relationship with God at the same time, we go to several special youth events and retreats every year.

If you want to help out in the community, we participate in the family kitchen right here in Bend.

Meet your youth directors!

Mike Evans

He is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in experiential education at OSU-Cascades Campus. He has been working with youth in various capacities for the past six years beginning with a high school job here at Bend UMC as a “youth assistant.”

When not in school or at work Mike divides his time between climbing, reading, writing, and various musical pursuits. He still flexes in front of the mirror. (evansm@bendumc.org).
