THE HEALTH MINISTRY/PARISH NURSE PROGRAM
First United Methodist Church serves our members and others in the community by offering:
    * Support in times of illness, stress, or death.
    * Monthly Blood Pressure Clinic
    * Timely educational offerings
    * Advocacy for members, including assisting members with the understanding of disease processes, medications, or any number of medical issues.
    * Visitation in all settings with an emphasis on total wellness - mind, body, and spirit.
    * Several support groups are offered
    * Volunteers to help with errands, light yard or house work, transportation or companionship

How Can I Help?

The health ministry is always in need of new volunteers.  Contact the parish nurse or the health ministry chairperson if you would like to volunteer to assist with Health Ministry Programs. You can volunteer on a regular basis or for a one-time need.
