Hi I'm Kevin. I was born in North Bend, Oregon and grew up Roseburg, Oregon. I have always loved the outdoors; fishing, back packing, camping, canoeing and more. I've been living in Bend since 1985 and have seen many changes here. One thing that remains the same. The great climate for all the things I love to do. I have three wonderful children. My first child Mandy, from a previous marriage is 10. My second child is my step daughter Cassie who is 21. And my third child (mine and my wife Judy's) is Jakub who is 3. I guess it's a case of mine, yours and ours. As I mentioned, I am married to Judy who happens to be the church secretary. We make quite the team at the church. She schedules the events and I clean up after them. It's the opposite at home, I create the "events" and Judy's cleans up after "them" (me). Judy and I first met around 9 years ago. Her daughter Cassie played on the same softball team as two of my nieces. After much persuasion on behalf of my family, we finally met and as they say; "the rest is history."
Not long after Judy and I got married, we started to attend Bend's 1^st UMC. We have always felt at home here. I was raised Free Methodist and Judy Methodist, so 1^st UMC fits us just right.  I have a full time position with the school district and have found it a great opportunity to work here part time as well. I take pride in doing a good job and hope I am making a difference in how people feel when them come to church, whether it's church members or people from our community. We are a very active church so it can be a challenge at times, but I feel it says a lot about our church when we open up our doors to so many great programs. So, welcome to our church if you are a visitor and thanks for checking out the website. I'd like to share some words of wisdom "Wipe your feet at the door". (Just kidding, custodial humor!)
