I moved to the Bend area from the valley to be close to children & grandchildren. I believe that working in ministry here is a wonderful use of the gifts and talents God has given me and I am enjoying meeting everyone and making new friends. Also camping and visiting the beautiful lakes in this area. |

Hi. My husband and I have lived in Bend since 1997. We feel blessed to live in such a beautiful area, and we are thankful our 3 children will grow up here. I enjoy running, XC Skiing, hiking, camping, gardening, concerts, traveling and reading. I love working at this church and am excited for the future of our Children’s Ministry Program. |

I have a full time position with the school district and have found it a great opportunity to work here part time as well. I take pride in doing a good job and hope I am making a difference in how people feel when they come to church, whether it's church members or people from our community. We are a very active church so it can be a challenge at times, but I feel it says a lot about our church when we open up our doors to so many great programs. Cindy & I enjoy being busy and active. Among the things we enjoy are: concerts, movies, and the theater; outdoor activities, such as hiking, skiing and camping; cooking, eating, and going out to eat with friends. We have been active in the conference camping program as counselors, dean, and campers. Thom enjoys singing in the church choir, doing crossword puzzles, reading, doing Jazzercise and motorcycling (He is just a beginner!). We also enjoy our Standard Poodle, Geb. |

I am Diane Cole, your contribution's clerk. When money comes in I am the one that puts it in the appropriate fund and makes sure your statement gets to you each quarter. I was born in Ohio, we moved to Bend in 1997 and found 1st UMC soon after. I have been a Methodist all my life. I am married and we have 2 teenagers. Since my job is just part time at the church I also do daycare in my home during the week. I love how many friends I've made at this church and hope that if we haven't met yet, we soon will! |

I moved to Bend in 1991 and married my husband, Vance, soon after that. We have two wonderful children, Ryan and Olivia. Both kids are very big into BMX (bicycle motor cross) and compete regularly. In addition to being the church treasurer, I have an accounting business that services many individuals and small businesses. I work at the church on Tuesdays, so feel free to stop in and say "Hi". |

Hi everyone! My name is Mariah White, I was born in Bend and have lived here my whole life. I have been attending First United Methodist Church off and on since I was about five years old. I love to hike, camp, fish, hunt and anything else fun to do outside. My husband, Kevin and I are really excited to be part of the youth group here. My goal is to help the kids and young adults develop a string relationship with God and our church family. I can’t wait to see where God will be taking us on this journey.
